Well one thing we DO know… It’s almost First Friday and we’ve got ALL kinds of Holiday Goodness going on in the district on First Friday December 6th! Here’s the line-up…

‘Kids Happy Hour’ Artsy Fun for the younger set! $30 includes Art Project, Pizza & Drinks from 6-8pm.
Cecil College Art & Design Program:
A Taste of the Arts: Student Exhibit and Pottery Sale
Drawings, paintings, designs, sculptures and ceramics will be on display at the Art and Design Program Student Exhibit. This exhibit highlights pieces selected by the art faculty and represents the range of work being created in the program. Proceeds from the pottery and gallery sales benefit art students.

Holiday Art Mart
Now in its 9th year, the Holiday Art Mart grows every year by welcoming even more new and local artists to sell their items during the month of December! Support your local artists while you do your holiday shopping. All gifts are original and priced right. Light refreshments will be available during the opening reception and Take 2 will provide the entertainment for the evening.

2nd Annual Wonderland of Wreaths
Cecil County Chamber of Commerce and Cecil County Arts Council are teaming up for the 2nd Annual Wonderland of Wreaths Exhibit & Silent Auction. Everyone is welcome and invited to create a customized wreath to be auctioned off and proceeds will benefit both the chamber and arts council. Timeline for wreaths is as follows:
Wednesday, November 27 – Registration forms are due
Monday, December 2 – Thursday, December 5 – Drop-off wreaths to the arts council.
Friday, December 6, 10:00 a.m. – Exhibition opens at CCAC to the public and bidding begins.
Thursday, December 12, 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. – Chamber’s Holiday
Business Card Exchange at CCAC
Thursday, December 12, 6:00 p.m. – Bidding ends, winners announced.
Friday, December 13 – Wreath Pick-up at the arts council.
The Cecil County Chamber’s Holiday Business Card Exchange is open to the public, registration is required at www.cecilchamber.com. Admission is Free!

We serve cheese and pepperoni pizza from Pat’s at 6pm. We will also be giving out Christmas cookies and candy canes! You may also bring food for your children if they do not like pizza, we have refrigerators and microwaves on site.
The kids will enjoy a Christmas craft, games, and a snowball fight. The night will end with an option of a craft, game or a choice of a Christmas themed movie.
All of this for only $10 per child!
Drop your children of for a night of fun in a safe space while you go out and enjoy the night. Drop off begins at 5pm and pick-up ends at 9:30pm, but you can drop off and pick up at any time between then.
Please register before the event by calling 410-287-1078. Registration must be completed before 4:45pm on the Friday of the event either at the registration desk or by phone.
