Maryland, My Maryland let me give thanks to you for being such a staunch supporter of the Arts!
I’d like to take a moment to recognize the Maryland State Arts Council for their support. Without them this website wouldn’t be possible. Neither would this little beauty of a logo for our district.Thank You Grunge Muffin Designs for your Amazing skill of creating a brand full of life and color which gets Elkton’s A&E District the attention it deserves!
In fact, there are a LOT of brand NEW Elkton Arts & Entertainment District implementations taking place thanks to the grant opportunities provided by the MSAC. First, this shiny new website (share, visit, share, visit, share etc.) filled with SO MUCH Artsy content (Venues, Clubs, Events!) And should you have a question not answered on the site you can simply drop us an email on the Contact Page.
Be on the lookout for the NEW Elkton Art Loop Banners during our First Friday Events… They’re Colorful AND Classy!
No longer will you need to drive down Main Street wondering, “What’s going on over there?” with our new Sandwich Board broadcasting what event is happening TODAY!
We’ve got STICKERS!!! Want to help us get the word out about Elkton Arts? Give us a holler and we’ll get you a sticker! Aren’t they Sweet!
Partnering up with the Cecil County Arts Council the A&E District is also providing support to a couple of mural projects going up in town.
Then there’s our SUPER Exciting project currently in the works…The soon to be completed Community Garden at 135 E. Main! Soon, VERY Soon you’ll be able to have a seat on our lovely deck… Enjoy the beautiful flowers, creatively painted art posts, little artsy details here and there. We hope you’ll be inspired to create artwork of your own in this space… Write, Draw, Compose Music… The Garden is ALL about providing you a bit of inspiration to be your most Artistic Self.
And for ALL of this and more, we have the Maryland State Arts Council to Thank!
